Lactic Acid Training + High Intensity Interval Training

Greetings my friends!

Today is day 4 of this round of insanity or… ahem… training.  This is what the author calls Lactic Acid Training.  The concept, in a nutshell, is to use your own body’s biochemical response to cause it to burn fat as a main fuel.  The body/muscle groups concentrated on today were:

  • Chest
  • Back – (Deltoids)
  • Biceps
  • Calves
  • And of course the core trio: Abs, Lower Back, Rotator Cuff

Add to this some High Intensity Interval Training which is exhausting, most definitely.  I caution anyone following the program to follow the instructions that come with it.  If you are VERY out of shape, (and that’s why one would be trying this) let me know and I can lend you the beginners’ ‘training which was immensely helpful for me.  You need a nook subscription, but that is your choice…

Tomorrow:

Tomorrow I will go through some of the Chemistry, etc. that is involved.  On tap for Day 5 is more lactic acid training for the other parts of the body not yet trained.
